An excellent video explaining a technology really outside normal lines of traditional R&D. These robots cycle through solar plants on rails adjusting the panels to face the sun throughout the day. One robot can adjust 200 solar panels in about 40 minutes, making it really practical in its purpose, and removes a lot of steel going into the design because motors extra supports are replaced by a simple axle that the robot plugs into and turns.
Summary
With claims of 20% operating cost reduction and plans to install these in large installation, this technology is not only interesting, but shows real promise.
